HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM

The CUPA Hazardous Waste Program is a crucial initiative in California focused on the safe management and disposal of hazardous waste. Under this program, the Long Beach CUPA oversee and regulate the handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste. The program ensures that businesses generating hazardous waste comply with strict regulations to prevent harm to human health and the environment.

The CUPA conduct inspections, provide guidance, and enforce compliance with hazardous waste regulations. They help businesses understand the proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous waste to minimize potential risks. The program also emphasizes the importance of proper training and education. It provides resources to businesses and the public to raise awareness about the safe management of hazardous waste. By implementing the CUPA Hazardous Waste Program, California aims to protect communities and the environment from the potential hazards associated with hazardous waste. Together, we can ensure a cleaner and safer future for all.
