New Ways to Engage with Your City Council
Beginning with the July 21, 2026, City Council meeting, the City of Long Beach will offer virtual public comment, creating additional opportunities for residents to participate in local government.
Pursuant to California Senate Bill 707 (SB 707), members of the public will be able to attend City Council meetings remotely and provide live public comment through a two-way audiovisual or telephonic platform.
Additional information, including participation instructions and meeting procedures, will be available soon.

How to Navigate the New OneMeeting Public Portal
The City’s previous meeting management system, will continue to be used to access agendas, minutes, videos and records from past meetings until all records have been successfully migrated.
Please visit the Harbor Commission website and the Long Beach Transit Board of Directors website to view the agenda, minutes, and meeting recordings that are not supported in OneMeeting.
