This page will be updated as new incidents occur.

Here’s a recap of incidents occurring last night:

• Hit Shooting – 100 block of West Bort Street: On May 8, 2025, at approximately 12:55 a.m., officers responded to a local hospital regarding a male adult victim who walked in with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was in the 100 block of West Bort Street when the shooting occurred. The victim was unable to provide details of the incident. Officers located a evidence indicating a shooting had occurred. Suspect information and the motive for the shooting are under investigation.
