Halloween Safety Tips
- Always accompany your children when trick-or-treating.
- Teach your children to look both ways before crossing the street, and to use traffic signals and crosswalks.
- Remind them to walk, not run, from house to house.
- Check your children's candy before they eat it.
- NEVER go into a stranger's house or get into a stranger's car.
- Stay in areas where there are a lot of other people around.
- Carry a glow stick or flashlight with you, if possible, so that you can be seen in the dark.
- ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings.
