Property owners interested in constructing ADUs can now save time and money on their projects with the City’s Pre-Approved Accessory Dwelling Unit Program (PAADU). These beautiful designs provide owners the ability to better understand costs associated with construction, a preview of what to expect and ease of design planning.
PAADU plans and permit applications may be approved Over-The-Counter (OTC) at the Permit Center with the assistance from the Planning and Building & Safety Bureaus. Upon approval, a building permit can be issued the same day.
