Technology and Innovation ​​Commission

The Technology and Innovation ​​Commission (TIC) advises the City Council on new technology, including research, development, and operation. Its goals are to facilitate the exchange of ideas, support the implementation of information technology, and assess new technology to improve the City's efficiency, quality, and accountability.

The Commission's duties include evaluating research on emerging technology, identifying community technology needs, recommending program strategies, and performing other technology-related duties requested by the City Council.

The Commission consists of seven (7) members:

  • Three (3) at-large members
  • One (1) member with experience in technology startups/innovation
  • One (1) member with experience in mobile/app technology
  • One (1) member with experience in technology and education
  • One (1) member with experience in networking, servers, or databases.
