Run like it’s Recess Event

Our council office is a very proud sponsor of this special event. Newcomb Academy, a TK-8 public school in El Dorado Park Estates, is hosting their 13th annual “Run Like It’s Recess 5K Run/Walk 1k/Toddler Dash” community event on Sunday, January 28. Their mission is to bring the community together to promote health and fitness. This family-friendly event is open to all ages and physical abilities. There will be food, music, activities and medals for all participants. The 5k is a timed event and awards will be presented to the top runners. This is also a stroller and wheelchair friendly event.
