Ribbon Cutting for Protected Bike Lanes Along Artesia Boulevard 8/11/2016 The public was invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony for new protected bike lanes along a half-mile stretch of Artesia Boulevard from Orange Avenue to Atlantic Avenue. The ceremony was held on Thursday, August 11, at 10:00 am, in the 700 block of East Artesia Boulevard.

Street Sweeping Improvements Coming to Parking Impacted Neighborhoods 3/14/2016 Beginning the week of March 21, 2016, the City of Long Beach will change street sweeping times in parking impacted neighborhoods by eliminating 4:00 am sweeping times, and moving most sweeping times to 8:00 am or later.
