Long Beach, CA - The City of Long Beach invites community members to get the COVID-19 vaccine at the Aquarium of the Pacific on Thursday, June 17 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., and receive free admission to see sharks and other sea creatures. The incentive aims to encourage more individuals to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
“We continue to offer the COVID-19 vaccine at various sites throughout the city and this clinic provides a great opportunity to see sharks too,” said Mayor Robert Garcia. “We appreciate the Aquarium of the Pacific for partnering with us to motivate people to get vaccinated.”
Individuals who receive their first dose of Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or their one and only dose of Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine at the event will receive free admission to the Aquarium for themselves and one guest that night.
Complimentary parking is available. The vaccination clinic will be held outdoors in front of the Aquarium in the plaza area.
