Mobile Vaccination Team 

The Mobile Vaccination Team offers COVID-19, flu, and mpox vaccination on weekdays to Long Beach residents who are not able to make it to the Immunization Clinic, such as persons who are not able to leave their home, persons with disabilities, access, or functional needs, those in skilled nursing, elder care, sober living and in other long-term care facilities. Mobile vaccination requesters must meet the requirements stated below. 

Those who are able to access the COVID -19 vaccine through their primary care provider or at an ongoing vaccination site should continue to do so.

  • Which vaccines are available through the Mobile Vaccination Team?

    The Mobile Vaccination team offers vaccinations for:

    • COVID-19 (for those meeting eligibility criteria, please review our requirements)

    • Flu

    • Mpox

  • What are the requirements to qualify for a mobile vaccination?

    In order to receive a mobile vaccination, you must be a resident of Long Beach and a person who is not able to leave their home, persons with disabilities, access or functional needs, those in skilled nursing, elder care, sober living and in othe long-term care facilities.

    Eligibility Requirements for An In-Home COVID-19 Vaccination:

    For individuals 19 years of age and older under the "Bridge Access Program:"

    • Uninsured (no health insurance) 

    • Underinsured (vaccines are not covered by insurance and requires a co-payment) 

    • Adults with MediCare part B and D are considered insured and not eligible to receive receive COVID-19 vaccination by the Long Beach Health Department.

    Childbirth to 18 years of age: 

    • Medi-Cal 

    • Uninsured (no health insurance)
