Climate Resilient and Sustainable City Commission

The eleven-member Climate Resilient and Sustainable City Commission advises the City Council on environmental issues such as buildings and neighborhoods, urban nature, transportation, water, energy, waste reduction and eco products and services, and is responsible for creating a Sustainable City action plan. The Climate Resilient and Sustainable City Commission meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. and are open to the public.

City Hall is located at 411 W. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802. There are multiple ways to get to City Hall and members of the public are encouraged to be sustainable by walking, biking, carpooling or taking public transit.

Upcoming Meetings

The public has the option to provide comments on agenda items prior to the meeting via email or e-comment. All public comments must be received by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
