Street Light Maintenance

As of May 2021, the Public Works Department oversees and maintains the City's street light system. Street light repairs may consist of a light outage, physical damage to the pole or light, and/or light switching on outside of its nightly schedule. Once the request is received, the site will be inspected and prioritize the request based on severity.

How to Report:

Submit a street light maintenance request by calling our hotline (562) 570-2700, on the GO Long Beach App or on the Go Long Beach website. Please provide the street address and nearest intersection of where the street light is located.
