Clean Team
The Clean Team is an interdepartmental effort to beautify the community and enhance the quality of life of our citizens by removing litter and debris in public right-of-ways. This initiative serves as both a litter abatement and prevention effort that works proactively with residents, neighborhoods and businesses toward a shared goal: a clean community where we can live, work, play and do business.
The Clean Team encompasses multiple City programs, such as LitterfreeLB Clean-Ups, Illegally Dumped item removal, and Special Collections of oversized trash items from City-serviced refuse & recycling accounts. More programs and resources are available below:
- Find or organize a LitterfreeLB Clean-Up in your neighborhood
- Report illegal dumping
- Request a Special Collection of oversized trash items
Special Collection requests are not completed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Presidents Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Election Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
