Facility Condition Assessments (FCA)

Citywide Facility Condition Assessments and Improvements

Additional information will be published on an on-going basis

Background

The Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) evaluates public facilities (i.e. structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building envelope) to help identify and prioritize corrective work, and develop budget estimates and time frames for work. Individual projects are then identified for improvements once the assessments are completed and needs are prioritized.

Funding

Measure A logoFacility Condition Assessments are currently supported by Measure A. Measure A is a Long Beach ballot initiative approved by voters in 2016 as a 10-year sales tax to fund public infrastructure and public safety services and was extended indefinitely by voters in 2020.
