Senior Center at 125 Elm Avenue

Building Photo

Additional project updates and information will be published on an on-going basis.

Background

The new Long Beach Senior Center at 125 Elm Avenue will transform the ground floor of the former Edison building into a modern, 44,514-square-foot hub for senior programs and health and social services. Located in the heart of Downtown Long Beach, the center will offer easy access via public transportation and on-site parking on the second floor. This new location replaces the existing outdated facility, which is no longer cost-effective to upgrade. The revitalized space will provide a welcoming, accessible environment where older adults can stay active and connected to the community.

This project is part of the Elevate ’28 Infrastructure Investment Plan, a historic initiative dedicated to enhancing Long Beach parks, community facilities, mobility access, and streets. Learn more at lbelevate28.com.
