Street Improvements on 3rd Street

The City’s Contractor, All American Asphalt, is scheduled to begin asphalt paving on 3rd Street from Alamitos Ave to Junipero Avenue beginning Monday June 14, 2021.

The work will take place on the following days:

• Asphalt Cold Milling / Grinding from Alamitos to Junipero on 6/14-6/15/21
• Asphalt Level Course Paving from Alamitos to Junipero on 6/16/21
• Asphalt Cap Paving from Alamitos to Esperanza on 6/17/21
• Asphalt Cap Paving from Esperanza to Cherry on 6/18/21
• Asphalt Cap Paving from Cherry to Junipero on 6/21/21

The contractor is scheduled to perform work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Signs for “No Parking” will be posted on both sides of 3rd St. a minimum of three days prior to the start of work.

Efforts will be made to maintain as much parking as possible. All efforts to adhere to the above paving schedule will be made, but unforeseen circumstances may lead to changes in locations and/or dates. Please follow @LBPublicWorks on Facebook and Twitter for updates.
