Slurry Seal Pilot Projects Coming to an Area Near You

The Slurry Seal and Crack Seal Pilot Project has officially launched! To keep Long Beach streets in good repair, crews will be making improvements. Work may include slurry resurfacing and crack seal. Slurry seal is a type of sealant for street maintenance made of emulsified asphalt (a mixture of oil, sand, and rubber) that is used to prevent water intrusion and extends the life cycle of the streets when applied.

NO PARKING-TOW AWAY signs with construction dates will be posted on impacted streets in advance of work. Street sweeping may be affected during this period, however, your refuse pickup will remain as scheduled.*No private property access for 8 hours during active work. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and patience.
