Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the El Dorado Duck Pond Project

The City of Long Beach invites the public to attend the El Dorado Duck Pond Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at El Dorado Park West (2400 N. Studebaker Road).
The project features improved public access, converted the pond into a recycled water reservoir, and upgraded the walkway surrounding the pond. The project accomplished a new reclaimed water system to the adjacent golf course, reducing the use of potable water. Visitors will experience improved water quality, enhanced habitat, and see enlarged wetlands and forebay areas.
