Long Beach Open Streets

Release Date: 2020-07-09

To support COVID-19 recovery for local restaurants and businesses, the Long Beach City Council approved an Open Streets Initiative to temporarily transform public areas into safe spaces for physically-distanced activity. This program expands outdoor dining space to spur economic recovery, while also promoting outdoor activities, by limiting cut-through traffic on selected City streets.

Visit the Open Streets webpage to stay up to date on the latest parklet dining locations, and resources for business owners looking to expand their outdoor dining during the COVID-19 recovery.
