Enforcement of Street Sweeping Resumes - Monday, May 18, 2020

Street sweeping is an essential service necessary to ensure the cleanliness of our City. Regular street sweeping clears debris from blocking the storm drain system and removes pollutants in the streets that would otherwise end up in the ocean or other City waterways. To provide assistance to residents and businesses during this difficult time, the City temporarily suspended issuing street sweeping-related parking citations. Regular street sweeping schedules and enforcement practices will resume on Monday, May 18, 2020. Residents living in parking-impacted neighborhoods can apply for a free parking permit for City specified lots and garages.
