El Dorado Park Sports Field Improvements Project

The City’s Contractor, Blue Nose Construction, is scheduled to begin construction in the area in July 15th, 2024 with a scheduled completion, barring weather or other unforeseen delays, by Early 2025.

The El Dorado Park Sports Field Improvements project received an additional $1.6 million in Fiscal 2023 State of California surplus funds for Phase 2, including:

  • Restroom renovation of the existing restroom into individually accessible gender-neutral stalls including updated finishes, fixtures, and paint.
  • ADA Improvement at parking lot.
  • Field 5 & 6 improvements
The contractor is scheduled to perform work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Parking impacts for residents is not expected. Efforts will be made to minimize inconveniences and minimize construction activities during scheduled park sports activities.

The contractor encourages park patrons to keep children away from the construction areas and activities.
