Crest Alley Improvements Project

The City’s Construction Contractor, Bitech, is anticipated to begin construction in the area on Monday, July 29th, 2024, with a scheduled completion, barring weather or other unforeseen delays, by Saturday, October 26, 2024. The work will take place on:

• Crest alley between Long Beach Blvd and Wardlow Road

The project will consist of:

• Clear and Grub of overgrowth
• Soil regrading and stabilization
• Drainage Pipe installation
• Concrete work

The contractor is scheduled to perform work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The dirt alley west of Crest Drive will be closed. Minor parking impacts are to be expected. There will be construction noise associated with the project.

The work will be confined to the dirt alley west of Crest Drive from Wardlow Road to Long Beach Boulevard. Ingress/egress into the alley will be blocked until project completion.

The contractor encourages residents to:

• Keep children away from construction activities.
• Park on Crest Drive.
