Long Beach, CA - Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine’s (PRM) El Dorado Nature Center, 7550 E. Spring St., will welcome the community to their 2021 Summer Concert Series beginning Thursday, July 8, 2021. The annual event, which was temporarily paused last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is a favorite among residents and their families.
“We're excited to welcome the community back to our annual Summer Concert Series,” said Mayor Robert Garcia. “This is a great way for folks to come out for some fun with the family and enjoy live music with neighbors and friends.”
The El Dorado Nature Center outdoor concerts will open for picnicking at 6:30 p.m. with live music from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring low chairs or blankets and a picnic dinner. The concerts are available at no cost, but a $5 donation to the Friends of El Dorado Nature Center is encouraged.
Facial coverings are not required for Summer Concert Series attendees, regardless of vaccination status, per California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidance and the City’s Health Order.
