PRESS RELEASE

Long Beach, CA – Now through April 15, teams and individual players can register for the City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) spring 2022 adult basketball and volleyball leagues. Games will be scheduled at various City and school facilities in Long Beach on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Players must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the leagues. Divisions are available for coed, women and men and at a variety of recreational levels.

Adult Volleyball Teams – Coed, Women’s and Men’s Leagues:
The registration fee is $340 per team plus $15 per game (Official’s Fee). Season schedule includes 10 regular season games plus playoffs for qualifying teams. Limited spots based on gym availability. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Games will be played on weeknights. Team and individual registration is available online.

Adult Basketball Teams – Men’s and Coed Leagues:
The registration fee is $300 per team plus $30 per game (Referee Fee). Season schedule includes 10 regular season games plus playoffs for qualifying teams. Limited spots based on gym availability. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Men’s Leagues available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Coed League available on Tuesdays. Team and individual registration is available online.

In-person registration is available for team managers weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (4 p.m. on Fridays) at the PRM Sports Office, located on the second floor of the Recreation Park 18 Clubhouse at 5001 Deukmejian Drive. Questions can be directed to 562.570.1725.
