The public is invited to attend the first meeting of the recently
seated Southeast Area Specific Plan Community Advisory Committee
(Committee) on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:30 pm at the Best Western
Golden Sails Hotel Seafarer Room at 6285 E. Pacific Coast
Highway.
The City of Long Beach has begun a three-year effort to
comprehensively review and update the zoning code historically
known as the Southeast Area Development and Improvement Plan
(SEADIP), an area covering 1,500 acres of southeast Long
Beach. Community outreach efforts during this process will
offer several opportunities for the public to provide input on the
new plan.
The Committee consists of representatives from affected
neighborhood groups, natural resource conservationists, commercial
property ownership interests, business operators, community
members-at-large and government agencies.
