Long Beach, CA – All 12 Long Beach Public Library locations will be closed to the public on Friday, April 21, 2023, for a full day of staff training and development. All library locations will reopen on Saturday, April 22 at 10 a.m.

During the one-day closure, Library patrons are encouraged to utilize the Library’s vast collection of digital resources, including the Library catalog, downloads, and databases, available 24/7. Outdoor book returns will also be available at all locations for patrons wishing to return items. There will be no impacts to Library programming or events as a result of this closure.
