Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Winter Class Registration Begins November 6

Long Beach, CA – Registration for winter recreation classes provided by the City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) begins Monday, Nov. 6, 2023. Classes including art, music, fitness and sports will be offered from December 2023 through February 2024. The classes provide opportunities for exercise and recreation, social interaction, learning and relaxation for every age from preschool-aged children to adults. 

Residents can browse the complete list of winter classes in the latest issue of Recreation Connection, available now at, or at Long Beach park community centers and Long Beach Public Library branches. Some highlights of the winter class offerings include: 

Cooking, Spanish Language Immersion, Ballet, Music, Pre-K Readiness, Basketball, Soccer and T-Ball.

Cooking, Ballet, Tap and Hip Hop, and Mexican Folklorico dance; Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball, Math and Reading Development, Martial Arts and Soccer.

Ceramics, Drawing, Cooking, On-Line Driver’s Education, Fitness and Martial Arts.

Ceramics, Drawing, Quilting, Dance, Dog Training, Fitness, Yoga and Martial Arts.

Adults 50+ 
Line Dancing, Movement and Balance, Zumba and Yoga.

Residents can register online at, by calling 562.570.3111 or by visiting the Registration Reservations Office (2760 Studebaker Road) weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Convenient in-person registration appointments also are available.
