Long Beach, CA - The City of Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Department (PRM) will offer in-person day camps during the upcoming Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) spring break, occurring April 5 through 9. LBUSD students ages 5 to 12 will enjoy crafts, physical fitness, enrichment activities and more, all while following COVID-19 safety precautions. Registration for the camps begins Feb. 26.
The camps will operate Monday through Friday, April 5 through 9. A $30 registration fee is required for campers attending from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and $50 for those attending from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Financial assistance is available on a first-come, first served basis.
Online registration begins on Friday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. In-person registration is available on Friday, Feb. 26, from 8 a.m. to noon at the following sites:
Pan American Park, 5157 E. Centralia St.
King Park Pool, 1910 Lemon Ave.
Belmont Plaza Pool, 4320 E. Olympic Plaza
After Feb. 26, in-person registration is available by appointment only by calling 562.570.3150.
