Long Beach, CA – Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine’s (PRM) 2022 summer season will conclude with a concert at Marine Stadium (5255 Paoli Way) featuring the “Under Cover” band on Friday, Aug. 26. The summer send-off event will begin at 5 p.m. with a Kid’s Activity Zone, followed by the concert from 6 to 8 p.m. with the sounds of pop, funk, soul, rock, Top 40, Latin and more.

“As we lead up to the first day of school in Long Beach, we are inviting everyone out to dance, connect with neighbors and enjoy a great summer evening in the park,” said Mayor Robert Garcia.

“Summer activities from our Parks department kicked off and are closing out at the beautiful Conductor Larry Curtis Concert Park. I encourage everyone to come out and enjoy an evening of live music and fun,” said Third District Councilwoman Suzie Price.

“This concert caps off a great summer of family fun,” said PRM Director Brent Dennis. “From free family events at Be SAFE recreation programs to Movies in the Park and performances from the Long Beach Municipal Band, Long Beach Community Band and ensembles at El Dorado Nature Center, it has been a memorable three months.”

Details about all of PRM’s summer entertainment and recreation programming is available on their website. For more information, call 562.570.3150 or visit lbparks.org.
