On Thursday, February 02, 2017 at approximately 3:00 a.m. officers from the Long Beach Police Department were flagged down regarding a possible person down in the roadway at Anaheim Street and the 710 Freeway. 

Upon arrival to the location officers located a male adult pedestrian in the westbound lanes of Anaheim Street at the 710 Freeway. The male was unresponsive and not breathing. 

Long Beach Fire Department Personnel arrived on scene and determined the male pedestrian deceased.   

The unidentified male pedestrian’s identity will be determined by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.  

There is no suspect information at this time.
