On Thursday, August 19, 2020, detectives arrested a male adult suspect who is believed to have been involved in several incidents of indecent exposure and lewd acts with minors.
On May 10, 2020, a social media post of an exposure incident was reported to detectives who immediately began investigating the incident. Through follow up investigation, victim evidence, and the information obtained from the social media post detectives were able to connect the suspect's vehicle to six other incidents in the City of Long Beach.

Detectives believe Lopez frequently drove in and around the City of Long Beach since October of 2019, and there may be other victims who can come forward with additional information. The vehicle the suspect is believed to have been driving is a silver 2018 Ford Mustang with California license plate #8GFE158.
The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old David Leon Lopez of Long Beach. Suspect Lopez has been described as follows:

Race: Hispanic
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown and wears eyeglasses
Facial hair: Mustache
Lopez was booked for one count lewd acts and eight counts of indecent exposure and is being held at the Long Beach City Jail on $75,000 bail.
