Update 1/28/20:

On January 21, 2020, detectives presented evidence to the District Attorney’s Office revealing both Joshua Osborne and Yesenia Cisneros had knowledge of John Osborne’s involvement in the murder, prior to his arrest. Both suspects provided aid to John Osborne with the intent of avoiding arrest, trial, conviction or punishment. The evidence was reviewed and arrest warrants were subsequently issued.

On January 27, 2020, 30-year-old Joshua Osborne and his spouse, 31-year-old Yesenia Cisneros of Long Beach, were located in the City and arrested without incident. Joshua Osborne is the brother of John Osborne. They were both booked on one count of accessory after the fact and are being held at the Long Beach City Jail on $1,000,000 bail.

Both persons provided aid to John Osborne with the intent he would avoid arrest, trial, conviction or punishment. The evidence was reviewed and arrest warrants were subsequently issued.

On January 23, 2020, 50 year-old Pamela Osborne and 49 year-old David Miller of Long Beach, were located and arrested without incident. They were each booked on one count of accessory after the fact and held at the Long Beach City Jail on $1,000,000 bail.

Update 7/17/19:
On July 16, 2019, at approximately 4:10 p.m., an adult male entered the Long Beach Police Department's Public Safety Building and was identified by his attorney as the suspect wanted in the July 11, 2019, murder of Nancy Romero, a 46-year-old resident of Long Beach.

John Osborne, a 31-year-old resident of Long Beach, was taken into custody and booked for murder. He is being held on $2,000,000 bail at the Long Beach City Jail.

The investigation revealed suspect Osborne and victim Nancy Romero were involved in a dating relationship. Detectives believe the murder to be an isolated incident of domestic violence.

The case is expected to be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office later in the week for filing consideration. The investigation remains ongoing.

Original News Release published on 7/12/19:
On July 11, 2019, at approximately 7:55 a.m., officers responded to an assist fire call in the 300 block of Magnolia Avenue, which resulted in the death of a female adult.

Upon arrival, officers located an unconscious female adult victim laying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to her upper torso. The Long Beach Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office will be identifying the female victim.

The suspect is described as a male White adult between the ages of 30 - 35, last seen fleeing the scene on foot.

Later that day, evidence led officers to a residence in the 300 block of Daisy Avenue. S.W.A.T. was activated and a subsequent search warrant of the residence was conducted. The residence was found to be unoccupied.

The preliminary investigation reveals that the victim and suspect were known to each other. There was also no indication that the incident was related to courthouse operations.

Detectives are utilizing various resources to locate the suspect and are actively working to gather additional information as a part of the ongoing investigation.
