On Monday, October 19, 2015, about 12:35 a.m., Long Beach Police responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of Magnolia Avenue, which resulted in the death of 25-year-old William Tyshoen Davis.
When officers arrived, they discovered a male adult who had been struck in the torso by gunfire. Long Beach Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim, in critical condition, to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
A motive for the shooting is unknown and is being investigated as possibly gang related.
