After an intense investigation, LBPD Homicide detectives identified three suspects in the Otober 7th  murder of Deon Robinson. 

The suspects were arrested on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The case was presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

The following charges were filed:

Defendant  Charges Bail 
Brandon Vincent Davis (1) count murder; (1) count attempt murder  $4,040,000
Darshay Holland (1) count witness intimidation; and gang enhancement  $1,040,000
Ricky Lee Vaughn  (1) count ex-felon with a handgun; and gang enhancement  $135,000

The defendants are being held at the Los Angeles County Jail. 


ORIGINAL NEWS RELEASE - 10/09/17:

On Saturday, October 7, 2017, at approx. 12:05 a.m., officers were dispatched to 1200 block of E. 56th Street regarding gunshots heard in the area, which resulted in the death of a male adult, and the injuring of a second male adult.

When officers arrived, they located both victims in the street. One victim had been struck in the torso and determined deceased at the scene by Long Beach Fire Department paramedics. He has been identified as 47-year-old Deon Robinson of Carson.

The second victim was struck in the lower body and was transported to a local hospital in serious, but stable condition. He is only being identified as a 36-year-old resident of Long Beach.
A motive for the shooting is unknown and the investigation remains ongoing.
