Update 9/25/19:

The Long Beach Police Department detectives located missing person Shawn Tischler the morning of Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in the City of Sylmar, CA.  Tischler is in the process of being reunited with his family. 

Original Release 5/9/19:

The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) is seeking the public’s help with locating missing person Shawn Tischler, who was last seen the morning of May 7, 2019 when he went with a group from his care facility on their morning walk to a nearby park.  

Upon their arrival at the park, Tischler ran southbound on Paramount Blvd toward South St.  The staff looked for him in the area, but were unable to locate him.  

The Missing Person is described as follows:

Age: 37 years old
Gender: Male
Race: White
Height: 5’6”
Weight: 112 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Black shirt, blue vest, black pants and black shoes 
Scars/Marks/Tattoos: Triangle tattoo lower back
Jewelry: None
Visible Dental Work: None
Medical Alerts: Suffers from medical condition(s) and may become disoriented
