Update on 5/5/2020:
On May 5, 2020, Long Beach Police Department Missing Person’s Detectives learned through their investigation that Villareal was on his way to the City of Oceanside (CA) and was located unharmed by the Oceanside Police Department. Villareal is on his way back to his residence to be reunited with his caregiver.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 78-year-old critical/at-risk person Jose Lopez Villareal.
Villareal was last seen by caregiver on May 4, 2020 at approxiamtely 7:00 p.m. at his residence located in the 5600 block of Orange Avenue. It is believed that Villareal wandered off northbound Orange Ave to an unknown destination. Villareal has a prior Santa Ana address in the 400 block of South or North Forest Ave.
The critical missing person is described as follows:
Age: 78-years-old
Gender: Male
Race: Hispanic
Height: 6'01''
Weight: 180 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Black
Clothing: Gray and white striped shirt, brown khaki pants, blue shoes
Scars/Marks: Scars on left hand and elbow
Dental Work: None
Medical Alerts: Suffers from medical condition(s) and may become disoriented. Pace maker
