Critical missing person Herbert Jones was located by officers on December 24, 2019 at approximately 12:40 p.m. in the 3800 block of Studebaker Road. He was located unharmed and has since been reunited with his family.

The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) is seeking the public’s help in locating critical missing person Herbert Jones, who was last seen on December 23, 2019.
Jones was last seen leaving a care facility located in the 3300 block of Magnolia Ave. at approximately 10:00 p.m. Jones resides at the care facility and left the location with another resident, who has since been located. Jones is known to wander, suffers from medical conditions and may become disoriented.
The missing person is described as follows:
Age: 84-years-old
Gender: Male
Race: Black
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 170 lbs.
Hair: Gray
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Gray sweater, gray pants and dark-colored shoes
Jewelry: None
Scars/Marks/Tattoos: None
Visible Dental Work: None
Medical Alerts: Suffers from medical conditions and may become disoriented
