On Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at approximately 1:50 p.m., Daniel Peter Chavez was found unharmed in the City of Los Angeles at a senior citizens center and has been reuinted with his family.

The Long Beach Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating critical missing person Daniel Peter Chavez, who was last seen on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
Chavez was last seen by a family member at approximately 2:00 p.m. at a residence in the 600 block of W. 10th Street. It is believed Chavez left the residence and walked to a business in the area of 7th Street and Atlantic Avenue.
Chavez suffers from medical conditions and is required to take medication daily.
The critical missing person is described as follows:
Age: 71 years old
Gender: Male
Race: Hispanic
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 170 lbs.
Hair: Grey
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Red shirt, dark pants, camouflage hat, pulling a rolling cart
Scars/Marks/Tattoos: Tattoo on left arm “Debbie”
Jewelry: None
Medical Alerts: Suffers from medical condition(s) and may become disoriented. Needs medication
