Critical missing person Davian Jay Carter was located unharmed in the City of Los Angeles, CA at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 25th. He has since been reunited with his family.


Original Release 9/25/19 @ 9:00 a.m.

The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) is seeking the public’s help in locating critical missing person Davian Jay Carter, who was last seen on September 24, 2019.

Carter was last seen by his mother at approximately 6:00 a.m. while at their residence in the 400 block of Cedar Ave. and was not home when his mother returned home from work later that day. Carter was last seen by a neighbor at approximately 8:15 p.m. while entering the apartment complex.

Detectives are actively working with the family and nearby agencies to gather additional information and possible destinations to further their investigation and locate Carter.

The critical missing person is described as follows:

Age: 12-years-old
Gender: Male
Race: Black
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 100 lbs.
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Yellow or black sweatshirt, tan pants and black shoes
Scars/Marks/Tattoos: None
Jewelry: None
Visible Dental Work: None
