Update on 11/29/19:

Critical missing person Chareon Soponsungkakit was located in the early hours of November 29, 2019 in the area of Long Beach Blvd. and Anaheim St. He was located unharmed and has since returned to his place of residency.

The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) is seeking the public’s help in locating critical missing person Chareon Soponsungkakit who was last seen on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

Soponsungkakit was last seen at a home he resides in located in the 900 block of Elm Ave. at approximately 3:15 p.m. Soponsungkakit has gone missing before and in the past has been located in the City of Whittier. He is known to use public transportation on his own, wears a Los Angeles County Life Saver Bracelet wristband tracker, and suffers from medical conditions and may become disoriented.

The critical missing person is described as follows:

Age: 77-years-old

Gender: Male
Race: Asian
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 135 lbs.
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Green/yellow hat, black/grey jacket, black shirt and pants, and black and white shoes
Jewelry: None
Scars/Marks/Tattoos: None
Visible Dental Work: Full dentures
