On March 12, 2020, the Long Beach Police Department was notified by hospital staff that Missing Person Polizzi had been transported to a local hospital on February 25, 2020 where he has remained in medical care. Polizzi has since been reunited with his family.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 71-year-old critical missing person Michael Charles Polizzi, who was last seen on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at approximately 2:40 p.m.

Polizzi was last seen leaving a care facility, located in the 3200 block of E. Artesia Blvd., walking and using his wheelchair for balance. Polizzi has medical conditions that cause him to become lost and disoriented easily and requires 24-hour medical care and attention. Polizzi has difficulty walking, has difficulty with balance and difficulty breathing.

The critical missing person is described as follows:

Age: 71-years-old
Gender: Male
Race: White
Height: 5’06”
Weight: 153 lbs
Hair: Grey
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Blk long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, wheel chair
Scars/Marks: None
Visible Dental Work: Upper dentures and missing lowers
Medical Alerts: Suffers from medical condition(s) and may become disoriented, difficulty walking, difficulty breathing
