Missing person Esther Alicia Arujo was located by officers on August 6, 2022, unharmed at a hospital in the City of Torrance, and has been reunited with her family.

Original Release Published 8/6/2022 at approximately 11:40 a.m.:

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a 11-year-old at-risk missing person, Esther Alicia Arujo, who was last seen on Aug. 6, 2022, at approximately 7:05 a.m. near the 1700 block of Loust Avenue.

Arujo was last seen riding a scooter away from her residence heading northbound on Locust Avenue towards Pacific Coast Highway. Arujo's destination is unknown, and she suffers from mental conditions and may become disoriented. 

At-risk missing person Esther Alicia Arujo is described as follows:

Age: 11-years-old
Gender: Female
Race: Hispanic
Height: 4'11"
Weight: 200 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Gray hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, dark shoes, and riding a scooter.
Medical Alerts: has medical condition(s) and may become easily disoriented
