At-risk missing person Leona D. Alvarez was found safe and unharmed in the city of Los Angeles. She has been returned to her living facility.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a 67-year-old at-risk missing person, Leona D. Alvarez, who was last seen on July 13, 2023, at approximately at 9:00 a.m.

Alvarez was last seen at her living facility in the 200 block of Redondo Avenue. Her destination is unknown and has walked away in the past. She has no car, no cell phone, nor any tracking device, and has an unknown amount of cash. Alvarez suffers from cognitive issues and may become disoriented.

At-risk missing person Leona D. Alvarez is described as follows:

Age: 67-years-old
Gender: female
Race: Black
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 112 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Blue dress with red and white stripes, with white shoes.
Scars/ Marks/ Tattoos: None
Medical Alerts: Suffers from cognitive issues and may become disoriented.
