LBPD OFFICERS, TASK FORCE, ARREST FIVE ROBBERY SUSPECTS

Release Date: 2022-11-18

On Oct. 18, 2022 at approximately 8:23 p.m., officers responded to a business near the 6400 block of Pacific Coast Highway regarding a report of a theft. Through their investigation, officers determined a group of unknown suspects entered the business, removed multiple items of merchandise, and fled the scene prior to officers arrival. The loss was estimated to be about $13,000 worth of merchandise.

Burglary detectives and a crime analyst immediately began investigating and were able to connect these suspects to other incidents across the region. Working with our law enforcement partners, five suspects were identified and subsequently arrested by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department on Nov. 14, 2022. The following suspects were arrested:

  • Daymond Lafayette, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles
  • Kedren Lawson, a 20-year-old resident of Los Angeles
  • A male juvenile resident of Ontario
  • A male juvenile resident of Los Angeles

We’d like to thank all of our law enforcement partners for the collaboration leading to the arrest of these suspects.
