LBPD Detectives Investigate January 28 Commercial Burglaries

Detectives are investigating several reported burglaries that occurred on Jan 28, 2023, involving similar circumstances. Each incident involved an unknown suspect wearing similar clothing and using similar tools to make entry into the business, and damage and/or remove property. In each incident, the suspect fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival. At this time, the incidents are believed to be related, no additional suspect information is available, and Burglary detectives are actively pursuing all leads and working to determine if there are additional incidents that are possibly related. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers responded to the following reported incidents which are being investigated
- Jan 28, 2023, at approximately 4:51 a.m. at 2940 Clark Avenue.
- Jan 28, 2023, at approximately 5:23 a.m. at 3950 East 4th Street.
- Jan 28, 2023, at approximately 5:43 a.m. at 3404 East 4th Street.
