LBPD Burglary Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglaries

LBPD Burglary detectives are investigating multiple commercial burglaries that have occurred over the past month. While the circumstances are similar, detectives have not yet identified any suspect(s) as being responsible for any of the incidents, nor if the incidents are related.
Each incident involved an unknown suspect(s) disabling an outside lockbox, and in most cases, the keys were used to enter the business. The loss differed in each incident and included items such as miscellaneous paperwork and electronics. In each incident, the suspect(s) fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.
Officers responded to the following reported incidents:
- June 13, 2023 at approximately 2:00 a.m. at 5656 E 2nd Street
- June 14, 2023 at 1806 Ximeno Avenue
- June 15, 2023 at 4801 E 2nd Street
- June 18, 2023 at approximately 8:57 a.m. at 1714 Clark Avenue
- June 22, 2023 at approximately 4:16 a.m. at 6467 E Pacific Coast Highway
- June 27, 2023 at approximately 2:00 a.m. at 5710 E 7th Street
- June 27, 2023 at approximately 2:00 a.m. at 5708 E 7th Street
At this time, no suspect information is available, and Burglary detectives are actively pursuing all leads and working to determine if there are additional incidents that are possibly related. The investigation is ongoing.
