Hit Shooting – 1600 block of 10th Street: On July 5, 2025 at approximately 2:50 a.m., officers responded to the area of 23rd Street and Walnut Avenue regarding a shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers contacted a female adult victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in her vehicle in the 1600 block of 10th Street when two male adult suspects attempted to enter her vehicle. As she attempted to drive away, she was struck by gunfire. The victim fled to the area of 23rd Street and Walnut Avenue, where she called police. Suspect information and motivation for the shooting are under investigation.
