This page will be a resource for the public to learn more about enforcement efforts, arrests, and commendable events and will be updated as new incidents occur.

Here’s a recap of incidents occurring last night:

  • No-Hit Shooting with Three Juveniles In Custody – 900 block of Via Carmelitos. Last night, at approximately 7:29 p.m., officers responded to a shots call, later determined to be a no-hit shooting, in the 900 block of Via Carmelitos. While en route, officers were advised a vehicle was seen fleeing the area at a high rate of speed following the shooting. Officers located the vehicle and engaged in a department-authorized vehicle pursuit. After a short period of time, the vehicle stopped and three suspects began to flee on foot. The vehicle continued on and fled the area. Officers safely arrested the three suspects  – a 15-year old male, a 16-year-old male, and a second 15-year-old male – and recovered two firearms. Additional officers located evidence, including casings, indicating a shooting had occurred. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.

  • No-Hit Shooting and Arrest – 1800 block of Palmer Court. Early this morning, at approximately 4:34 a.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Palmer Court regarding a shots call, later determined to be a no-hit shooting. Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a shooting (casings). During their investigation, officers detained a male adult who was arrested for prohibited person in possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled substance, and an outstanding warrant and is currently being booked into Long Beach City Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
