Welcome to the LBPD Blotter!
As part of our ongoing commitment to external communications and providing valuable information to our community, the Department will begin posting information about recent police activity, ongoing investigations, and other LBPD updates to the Department’s homepage and on the “News” tab of the Department’s website.
At approximately 10:00 a.m. each day, community members will be able to read preliminary information about incidents that may have occurred the previous evening, including shootings, stabbings, traffic fatality, and murder investigations, as well as any other notable incidents. This page will be a resource for the public to learn more about enforcement efforts, arrests, and commendable events and will be updated as new incidents occur.
Here’s a recap of incidents occurring last night:
- Stabbing - 1700 block of Coronado Avenue. On Sep. 11, 2022 at approximately 3:43 a.m., officers were dispatched to a local hospital regarding a possible stabbing victim. Upon arrival, officers contacted a male adult victim who stated he was stabbed by a relative, following a fight between the two. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his upper body. Officers responded to the 1700 block of Coronado Avenue, where the incident occurred, but were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
- Shots Call - 1800 block of Cedar Avenue. On Sep. 11, 2022 at approximately 4:05 a.m., officers responded to a shots call in the 1800 block of Cedar Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located evidence, including casings, indicating a shooting had occurred. No injuries were reported, the suspect(s) fled prior to officers arrival, and the motive is unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
