Here’s a recap of incidents occurring last night:

  • Officers investigate a shooting: On Sept. 25, 2023, at approximately 9:31 p.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of Olive Avenue regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located evidence, including bullet casings, indicating a shooting occurred. Officers performed a safety sweep and canvassed the area but did not locate a victim at the scene. Officers later located a female adult victim with a non-life-threatening injury to the lower body at a local hospital. The victim was uncooperative with the investigation. The preliminary investigation indicates that multiple suspects arrived in a vehicle, and the suspect(s) shot the victim at the location. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived. Motive for the shooting is under investigation. The investigation is ongoing.

This information is preliminary and is intended for early information use rather than being a formal investigative report.
